Use a notebook or a note on your device. For each entry, record when you noticed something, where it happened, and what you observed.

Keep entries separate

Add a new entry for each observation rather than rewriting earlier notes. This preserves the sequence of what you experienced.

Bring relevant details to the conversation

Share the parts of the log that relate to your concern. You do not need to identify the pest yourself; describe what you saw and ask for help assessing it.
